At the Minneota School concert last week, the seniors honored their parents with a flower. Minneota foreign exchange student Sebastiano Beraldo presented his host mother Mary Myhre with a flower.
Enjoying making music on buckets at the 2019 Elementary Spring Concert, “Sun, Sand, Surf!” in Minneota last week were Destin Fier, Kyler Lozinski and Tate Peterson. All are sixth graders.
The Southwest Minnesota State University jazz ensemble, under the direction of Dr. John Ginocchio, will join the Minneota jazz bands for a concert on March 25 at the Minneota High School.
Guest artist Denis DiBlasio will be the guest artist for the SMSU Jazz Ensemble at its pair of concerts on Monday and Tuesday, March 25 and 26. The March 25 concert will be at 8 p.m.
Performing in the St. Edward Christmas program was: Bryce Gorecki, as the second grade did, “All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth.”
The final concert of the year was held at Minneota Schools last Thursday with the Jr. and Sr. bands and choirs performing.
