I'll be Gnome for Christmas!

This six-foot gnome is actually a stump from an old cottonwood tree on the Marge Breyfogle property in Taunton. daughters, Delores Jacobs and Phyllis Hoel, and son Tom Breyfogle, made the gnome into Santa Claus. Delores fitted and stitched the large Santa hat, while Phyllis and Tom decorated the area. They have been decorating the gnome, carved with a chainsaw last year by Delores' husband, Lee, for several holidays. He was also a pirate for Halloween, a bunny for Easter, and a pilgrim for Thanksgiving. Mascot photo by Scott Thoma
