NHS Blood Drive garners 46 units

The Minneota National Honor Society hosted the American Red Cross Spring Blood Drive and were able to reach their goal of 46 units last Thursday, April 21.
The blood drive was held in the high school gymnasium with NHS students checking in donors and visited with them following their donations.
Donors not only contributed to saving lives by donating blood, it also allowed four students to earn scholarships to further their education.
The Minneota NHS Chapter would like to thank all those who donated, the high school for allowing the blood drive to be held in the gym, custodians for their assistance, and the PTA for sponsoring the event.
The next NHS Blood Drive will be held in October.
