OPERA HALL OPEN HOUSE ANNIVERSARY TO BE OCT. 29

The Society for the Preservation of Minneota Heritage (SPMH) will host a 120th anniversary celebration for the Opera Hall with an Open House on Friday, Oct. 29.
The Open House will be open to the public and will be held from 1-5 p.m. with refreshments being served.
The Opera Hall, established in 1901, has been used for a myriad of community events over the years, including concerts, plays, musicals, basketball games and even roller skating.
The SPMH has been working hard to renovate, clean and organize the historic Opera Hall for several months.
There are many interesting local items on display in the Opera Hall.
The Friends of the Library had a new elevator recently installed that allows for much easier access to the Opera Hall.
