Dale Buysse and his family knew they had to take a good long look at the track with four-wheel assist system for combines following last Thursday’s heavy rains.
“We thought about it, then decided to get one before they were all sold out,” Buysse said.
“Titan sold 52 combines with four-track systems,” since the rains last week,” Buysse said.
So on Tuesday Buysse was in the field.
High 68 getting blacktop

highway 68It's been a long time a'comin', but Highway 68 is finally getting blacktop.

The water-sewer-street project in Minneota had been slowed  because of the heavy rain and the recent flooding. But on Tuesday crews from McLaughlin and Schultz were on the scene putting tar on Hwy. 68 in downtown Minneota.

Northdale Construction got behind because of the rain but they've been working hard to catch up all week.

Earlier this week the sidewalks, curbs and gutters went into place along Highway 68.

Officials are hoping to get much of the paving done this week — as long as the good weather holds us.
