Mass of Christian Burial for Angeline Mack, formerly of Ivanhoe, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe.  Burial was in St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Mack, 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Knute Nelson Nursing Home in Alexandria, Minnesota.
Angeline Delores Drietz was born on May 10, 1918 to Joseph and Anna (Andr-zejek) Drietz of rural Lincoln County, Minnesota. She grew up on the family farm near Wilno and attended the Catholic School in Wilno. 
She married her late husband, Vernon Mack of rural Lincoln County on August 18, 1936 and they had six children. They farmed for over 40 years on a farm seven miles southwest of Taunton and attended Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Taunton. 
Angeline and Vernon retired from farming in 1980 and built a home near Ivanhoe, where they lived until late 2004.
They were members of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe. 
They moved into an apartment at the Divine Providence Health Care Center in Ivanhoe for two years, before moving to Alexandria in 2006. 
Angeline enjoyed going south with her husband in their motor home for 14 winters to Arizona, Florida, Texas, and California. Over the years her hobbies included traveling, square dancing, gardening, needle work, crafts, ceramics, playing cards, and camping with her family. 
She was active in both parishes and had served as President of The Altar and Rosary Society of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Taunton. 
While her children were growing up she was active in their school activities and 4-H.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.
Angeline is survived by her three daughters: Diane (David)  Runkle  of New Hope, MN; Karen (David) Janssen of Fort Collins, CO; Joanne (Don) Curry of Big Cabin, OK; two sons, Dennis (Virginia) Mack of Alexandria, MN and Gary Mack of Shakopee, MN; seven grandchildren: Scott (Jen) Janssen; Lisa Janssen (David) Alderson; Ryan Mack; Delsha Runkle; Justin (Kelly) Mack; Emily Mack and Christopher Curry; and four great-grandchildren, Teagan and Lindsey Janssen; Owen and Wyatt Alderson. 
She is also survived by her brother Marcellus Drietz and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; her infant daughter, Mary; her parents, Joseph and Anna Drietz; her brothers, Harry, Lawrence, and Clem Drietz; sisters, Emily (Drietz) Sprader and Irene (Drietz) Jaworski; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
