Services for Edward Joseph Dandurand, 76, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He died on Saturday, January 3, 2009, in Klamath Falls, with his wife and family at his side.
Ed Dandurand was born September 3, 1932, to Arthur and Josephine (Regnier) Dandurand in Marshall. He served four years in the U.S. Navy.
On Feb. 27, 1960, he and Doris Wilson of Lynd were married at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. They moved to Oregon in 1962 where Ed began a career with Pacific Power and Light that would last 26 years. In 1994, he and Doris moved to Rocky Point, Ore.
Ed was always involved in his community, especially after moving to Rocky Point. His time with his family was important to him, spending many summers on camping trips and multiple hours as a “cheerleader” in the stands. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a good bonfire with his friends.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; son Greg (Carol) Dandurand; daughter Michelle Dandurand; daughter Denise (Scott) Ribail; son Lt. Brad (Elizabeth) Dandurand; sister Jeannette Gemelke of Ghent; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
