Minneota capped off a perfect 21-0 regular season, thumping Quad County 60-9 and Pipestone Area 45-19 in the Pipestone Triangular Thursday night.

Jaylyn Coequyt scored 14 of her game-high 22 points in the second half as Minneota defeated Renville County West 59-46 Monday night in Minneota. The Vikings (15-10) were unable to distance themselves from the upset-minded Jaguars (3-25) in the first half, leading 28-23 at halftime behind a balanced scoring attack.

Kyson Arndt notched his first varsity double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds, Lincoln Jerzak had 16 points and Lucas Rybinski had 11 points and eight steals as Minneota avenged an earlier loss to Lakeview with a 59-38 victory Tuesday night in Minneota.

HELP ZOEY'S FAMILY On the afternoon of Jan. 26, 6-year-old Zoey Winter was attacked by three pit bulls while in the care of a babysitter at an apartment in Ghent. Zoey suffered multiple bite wounds to her head, arm, sides and legs. The most severe of these bites was to her right ear.
