| Start slowing down on golf course road |

By Gayle VanVooren Mascot Editor It’s time to start “slowing down” on the golf course road just east of town, for speed limit signs will be going up very soon. Westerheim Clerk Rick Bot and board members Jim Kompelien and John Buysse met with the City Council members at Monday’s meeting, giving their “go ahead” with the idea. Terry Schreiber of Eidsvold Township had already called and had also ok’d the proposal. After much discussion, signs of 35 mph will be installed from Highway 68 to the golf course corner, and 45 mph will be enforced north of that point. All agreed that the City would maintain the signs. A final vote was unanimous with the board.
