"Say a little prayer for those guys in the military," " said Ed Lozinski of the Minneota VFW. Duane Sarbaun of Taunton (below) said the Pledge of Allegiance during the ceremony. Lozinski spoke to both the audience at Minneota High School and St. Edwards School Thursday, as Veterans lined up to be honored. Across America similar services were honoring the veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice, their lives. And many who did survive, stood solemly in their place to be honored. Minneota's High School Choir sang, "Let Their be Peace on Earth," as Veterans gathered to honor their friends and relatives who are not able to attend such services any longer. At St. Edwards, a flag donated by State Bank of Taunton was given to the school and delivered by the veterans. Across the community kids read their Veteran's Day addressed and talked about Freedom and the price the veterans have paid. At St. Edwards, Josh Bot played Taps, as the ceremonies ended the Veterans Day ceremonies.
