Slick back your ducktail, grab your leather jacket, and get set to kick up your heels when the cast of “Grease” hits the Minneota High School stage December 5 and 6.
Justin Helmer is back Directing the all-school musical, which centers on some very creative, and worldly, high school kids from days gone by.
Mary Kaye Rabaey will be working with the vocalists and John Voit will have his orchestra all tuned up as they bring so many familiar songs to the stage.
The MHS sports scene has thrown off the practices some, but you can bet that the cast will be ready when the curtain opens at 7 p.m. on December 5. A second show will be given at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 6 for the play goers in our area.
Jacob Cheadle will have the lead role of Danny Zuko and Carley Novotny will be his sidekick, Sandy. Others you will want to see include Tonio Rabaey as Kenickie, Aubree VanKeulen as Betty Rizzo, Sonya Karels as Frenchy, and Andrew Swedzinski as Roger (Rump).
More of the cast members include Colleen Bot, Justin VanKeulen, Adam Josephson, Chesney Pedersen, Katelyn Kack, Theo Buysse, Audrey Hennen, Emily Bot, Cinthia Salazar, Lee Bot, Isaac Josephson, Kajsa Christenson, Megan Spanton and Cal Swedzinski.
