Gayle VanVooren Mascot Editor Come one, come all, to Minneota this Saturday, November 21, for the annual North Pole Extravaganza. Minneota local businesses and incoming vendors will be bringing their holiday wares for all to see, taste and explore. Ufkin’s Furniture will have music playing while you shop, thanks to local musicians. And they will have some goodies for you to taste. Other businesses will have speical events. Others participating include the Minneota Community Center and C.J.’s Bar and Grill for bake sales, homemade crafts and other items to use in your home. Many of the items on display are hand crafted and not available at other times during the year. The sale hours begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Rain or shine the North Pole Extravaganza will be held in Minneota on Saturday. It’s also a chance to support the local merchants and begin the holiday shopping in Minneota. Check the specials in the advertisements and note those who will be on hand in the special advertizements included in this edition of the Mascot.
