SMSU Family Day.
Families of SMSU students have the opportunity to experience college life during Family Day activities on September 18.
Brunches for students and family members will begin at 11 a.m. that day. Presentations will be given, a Mustang Stampede 5K walk/run is planned and a barbecue will begin at 10 a.m.
The Mustang soccer team will take on Concordia-St. Paul at noon, and the women’s volleyball team takes on Minnesota State, Mankato at 3 p.m. The Mustang football team entertains Bemidji State at 6 p.m.
The Pursuit of Excellence marching band competition will also begin at 6 p.m. at the old Mattke Field.
