|Rain continues, problems worsen|
By Byron Higgin, Mascot PublisherIn Minneota, sandbaggers gathered yesterda morning and were filling 2,000 sandbags that were already on hand. "We're trying to get more," said Mayor Tony Esping.
While they are not sure what areas to sandbag first, they are worried about the dike near Hope Lutheran, about the bridge on Hwy. 10 just northeast of Minneota and some other areas.
Highway 68 was also being threatened and word is they may be sandbagging Highway 68, which would cut off some of the daily traffic.
Mayor Esping has not called it an emergency in Minneota, but the bagging wass underway in case they are needed.
