The MACCRAY at Minneota girls' volleyball game set for tonight, Thursday, Sept. 23 has been postponed.

The heavy rains in the Minneota caused flooding in the area and students were sent home early at 1 p.m.

As far as anyone can remember, this is the first, non-winter day when school was let out early due to weather conditions.

All other practices were also canceled.

The Minneota vs. Canby football game set for Friday, Sept. 24 will NOT be held in Minneota. Officials have been checking to see if the game can be played either in Canby or at another site — or on Saturday.

No decision had been announced at 4:30 p.m. today (Thursday).
