Vikings win playoff openerandersons 4000

Minneota fullback Brandon Anderson (right) ran for 136 yards Tuesday night in a 55-7 first-round playoff win over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.

It gave him over 4,000 career yards as the all-time leading rusher in Minneota Viking history.

He's rushed for over 1,000 yards the last three seasons and last week against Ortonville went over the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

Minneota's win advanced them to the second round of Section Playoffs. They play at 3 p.m. Saturday in Minneota against Canby, a 29-3 winner over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton.
