The Canby/Minneota Sensations performed at halftime of the Minneota girls’ basketball game last Tuesday in Minneota. The Sensations placed second in the Lakeview Invitational this past weekend and will compete in the Section 3A meet on Saturday in Montevideo.

Kaitlyn Rohloff poured in 33 points, sinking 13 of 26 shots and 6 of 7 free throws, and Brooke VerSteeg had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds as Hancock whipped Minneota 84-42 Monday night in Hancock. The Owls (17-2) shot 46 percent from the field and 79 percent from the charity stripe.

Colton Thomsen scored 20 points to lead four Russell-Tyler-Ruthton players in double figures as the Knights drubbed Minneota 73-39 for their 12th straight win on Monday night in Tyler. Luke Schreurs drained four 3-pointers for 12 points, and Chase Christianson and Sean Griesse had 11 points apiece for the Knights (17-2).
