David Patrick Flood, 75, of Preston, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Christ Lutheran Church in Preston with Rev. James Rushton officiating.
Military rights will be performed by Preston VFW Post 9552. Burial will take place at St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery, Minneota, MN.

Bonnie Skillings, 79, of Clarissa, passed away on August 12, 2010 at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.
Services for Skillings were held on Monday, August 16, 2010, 11 a.m., at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Clarissa with Pastor Melissa Ehrhardt officiating.
Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Clarissa.

Genevieve Jelen, 95, of Canby passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Sanford Canby Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo with Father Brian Oestreich as celebrant. Burial was in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery. Genevieve A. Jelen was born on January 13, 1915 to John and Magdalen (Baierl) Eischens in Burton Twp, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She lived with her family on a farm 2 ½ miles east of St. Leo, where she grew up and attended St. Leo Parochial School. Following her education, she helped on the family farm.

Carl Stanley Christensen, 88, of Clarkfield, died Tuesday, July 27. Services were held Saturday, July 31 at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church with burial at the Spring Creek Lutheran Cemetery in Normania Township. Pastor David Christensen presided over the funeral. Christensen was born Oct. 11, 1921 in Swede Prairie Township of Yellow Medicine County to Carl and Nina (Gunlogson) Christensen. Stanley loved life on the Minnesota prairie and proudly farmed the land. He attended a one-room country school through eighth grade, achieving perfect attendance one year and skipping two grades.
