Area students make Dean's Lists

Colgan, Nilson

Area Minnesota students were among the 3,874 North Dakota State University students to be placed on the spring 2018 dean’s list.

A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify for the spring list.

The following local students were recognized:

Ghent: Ryan J. Colgan, Medical Laboratory Science and Trystin R. Nilson, Exercise Science.

Matthew Knutson
Minneota’s Matthew Knutson was among  1,100 students named to the University of North Dakota President’s Roll of Honor for the 2018 Spring semester.
To qualify for the UND President’s Roll of Honor, a student must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher. T
the student must also have earned a minimum of 30 semester hours and have completed a minimum of 12 hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades.

Southwest Minnesota State
Southwest Minnesota State University (Marshall) students have been honored for achievement during the 2018 spring semester of study. 
There are two Honors categories for the Dean’s List.
An undergraduate student who completes 12 or more A-F graded credits and achieves a grade-point-average of 3.5 or higher earns Honors.
If a 4.0 grade-point-average is achieved, the student earns High Honors.
