Lyon County GOP precinct caucuses set

All Lyon County Republicans are encouraged to attend the 2022 Republican precinct caucuses on Tuesday, Feb. 1. The caucuses will begin at 7 p.m.
The highlight of the caucus will be the gubernatorial straw poll. All active Republican candidates will be listed on the ballot.
Caucus participants will also have the chance to be elected as delegate to county and district conventions, and to vote on resolutions that will considered for the party’s statewide platform.
Three caucus sites have been established for Lyon County. Precincts will caucus as follows:
•Marshall: Grace Life Church Gymnasium, 1601 E.College Dr. (Cities of Cottonwood, Lynd, Marshall (Wards 1, 2 and 3) and Russell Townships of Clifton, Coon Creek, Fairview, Lake Marshall, Lucas, Lynd, Lyons, Sodus and Stanley)
•Minneota High School Music Room, 504 N. Monroe St. (Cities of Ghent, Minneota and Taunton; Townships of Eidsvold, Grandview, Island Lake, Nordland, Vallers and Westerheim)
•Tracy Area High School Media Center, 934 Pine St. (Cities of Balaton, Florence, Garvin and Tracy; Townships of Amiret, Custer, Monroe, Rock Lake and Shelburne)
