The Heritage Room Christmas Display at the Lyon County Museum.

Lyon County Museum closed; Tree Walk to remain up through January

In compliance with Minnesota Executive Order 20-103, the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall, has to remain closed December 19 through January 10. We hope to reopen on January 11, but will have to wait see if the order is extended or not. We will leave the museum decorated through January, in which we hope people will be able to see the museum in person to view all the holiday decorations and Christmas trees!
To see the trees now, there is an album on our Facebook page and the trees are on our website.
There are 3 ways to donate for the trees while the museum is closed:
Online: www.lyoncomuseum.org Gift Shop: 2020 Christmas Tree Walk
Mail: Make checks payable to the Lyon County Museum and send to 301 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258. In the memo or on a note, write the group's name of the tree you are voting for.
Drop Off: Place check or cash in an envelope and place in the book deposit drop located on the museum building. In the memo or on a note, write the group's name of the tree you are voting for.
The Heritage Room Christmas Display was set up by volunteers using decorations from their personal collections and the museum’s collection. Vintage and modern Christmas cards and photo cards are on display along with other holiday decorations. More photos of the display are featured on the museum’s Facebook page and on the museum’s website.
