Public Library hosting kids' reading challenge

The Minneota Public Library is celebrating Dr. Seuss Day on March 2 with an "I Love to Read" Challenge to Minneota children of pre-school age up to 12 years old.
The challenge will run from Tuesday, March 2 to Wednesday, March 31. Parents, grandparents or guardians are welcome to accompany the children.
Children that complete the following tasks with a librarian will receive a prize: (1) Take a tour of the library with a librarian, (2) Read a Dr. Seuss book to, or with, the librarian, (3) Log on to the Scholastic Bookflex or Scienceflex site using your library card and select a subject to read about. Read both the fiction and non-fiction books and take the quiz (the librarian will assist you with this).
Once the tasks are completed, you can pick out a prize.
The Minneota Public Library is located at 200 N. Jefferson St. They are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 9-noon on Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. For more information, call 872-5473.
