Red Cross Helping Four Marshall Families Following Sunday Apartment Fire

American Red Cross volunteers are providing help to four Marshall families following an apartment fire affecting four units in the 300 block of Fifth Street South early Sunday morning.

Following devastating home fires and other incidents, Red Cross volunteers meet with those affected, making sure they have a safe, warm place to stay, clothing, food, emotional support and help with long-term recovery planning.

As part of continuing efforts to build individual and community resiliency, the Red Cross recommends following these home fire safety tips and downloading the free Red Cross First Aid App.

By empowering local volunteers, the American Red Cross is able to fulfill its mission to prevent and alleviate suffering in the face of emergencies.
