Scholarship winners

Lincoln County Corn and Soybean Growers recently presented scholarship awards to four Minneota seniors.

The awards were of a variety of amounts raised at the annual Livestock Auction, which brought in $31,000.

There were 15 applicants and all were awarded an amount based on a point system for academics, school involvement and community volunteering — plus other factors.

Presenting the awards was Fran Fier on behalf of the group.

The winners were Mitchell Rost, Tanner Sterzinger, Austin Sterzinger and Rachel Engels.
