Mrs. Bot - Library
The library has been a busy place with students working on AR goals for the quarter.
Mrs. Bot continues to work on getting new books in the library. One in particular that students are anxious for is the NEW “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” which comes out on October 30th.
Mrs. Bot has it pre-ordered so we should have it soon after the release date. Mrs. Bot enjoys the excitement from students in regards to “books!”
In storytime, we have been reading books new to our library. One was about a dog who ate the boy’s homework. Doing the story cube afterward made us realize that the boy in the story did not have a name.
The students thought that was unusual. This week we read a fractured fairy tale of “The Three Little Pigs” which was enjoyed by even those who said they didn’t read fairy tales!
Enjoy these cool fall evenings that lend themselves to picking up and reading a good book!
