Time Travelers taking visit to ‘History of Veteran’s Day’

Time Travelers takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, October-May, at the Lyon County Museum in Marshall.

The themes and activities are related to history, exhibits and collections. Time Travelers is targeted to students in kindergarten through sixth grade and their families, but is open to all ages.

The cost is free. Sign up is recommended, but not required by calling 537-6580 or email director@lyoncomuseum.org the Friday before the class.

November 2: Thankful: History of Veteran’s Day

December 7: Gingerbread House and Ornament Decorating

January 18: History of Minnesota’s Casserole: Hotdish!

February 8: Valentine’s Day Tea Party

March 21 (Please note: different time) 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Night at the Museum

April 18: Creating Geocaches

May 16: Discovering Your Family History (in partnership with the Marshall-Lyon County Library)
