VFW Scholarship Bench

Pam Gregor, right, was the winner of the Minneota/Taunton VFW Scholarship Fund bench that was built and donated by John DeSmet, left. The bench was raffled off recently with proceeds going for a scholarship to a Minneota student to be named later. This is the third bench DeSmet has built and donated for a scholarship. "If you can help a kid or an organization, why not do it?" DeSmet said.
