City of Marshall Highway 68 project starts May 15

The City of Marshall Highway 68 project will start Monday, May 15. The project includes the construction of left and right turn lanes with an acceleration lane on Highway 68 west of Marshall at Pacific Avenue.

The City of Marshall received a MnDOT TED grant for the project in the amount of $666,000. The project will take place under traffic using lane closures, flaggers and a pilot car.

The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph. An 11 foot width limit will be in place. Motorists should expect short delays. R & G Construction Company of Marshall is the contractor on the project. The total project cost is $938,000. Construction is expected to wrap up August 18, 2017.
