Many businesses offering discounts, food and more for Crazy Days on July 9

Food, discounts and more are in store as Minneota Crazy Days returns on Friday, July 9 following a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
At least a dozen businesses will be involved in this year's Crazy Days event.
"It's so nice to see Crazy Days still going on in small towns," said one female shopper at Gislason's Hardware upon hearing the news that Crazy Days will be returning. "I remember it was a really big deal growing up here. There aren't as many stores around as there used to be, but it's still fun to see the town still has it."
Brad's Market will again be featuring his popular Outdoor Sale which will include over a dozen items, including fresh produce, pop, chips and more.
The Nordland Top Notchers 4-H group will host a cheeseburger meal outside Brad's Market that includes chips and pop for $6.
Gislason's Ace Hardware is offering a 15 percent off storewide sale, excluding solar salt, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Arched Door will be offering 20 percent off all regular-priced items, as well as tables with closeouts and boutique hangers for 10 cents.
One More Time Thrift Store will be trying something new that could be fun for the entire family. "Stuff-a-Bag" sale which features all the clothing and items you can fit into a brown paper bag for $8. Paper bags will be sold at the store. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
B Lenore will host a "Nooks and Crannies Sale" from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring an entire room with drastically reduced prices on items.
J's Dream will have a storewide sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with treats also available.
This & That Recreated will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 25 percent off storewide sale.
Hometown Kitchen & Bath will be selling discontinued carpet and tile samples for $1 each, or 5 for $3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Mascot will be involved this year, too, offering new customers a one-month free subscription to those subscribing to a six-month subscription, and two months free for those subscribing for one full year.
The AgPlus C-Store will be selling cake donuts for 25 cents (limit of 6 per person) until supplies last. AgPlus also has double points on Friday for Patron Points, and the Greenhouse items are 75 percent off.
If you need to sit down and take a break from shopping, City Hall Bar & Grill will offer a "2-for-1 Smashburgers and $5 root beer floats for its lunch special from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Countryside Golf Club will have an "All-Day" Burger and Fries Special for $8.
The Vietnam History Memorial Museum will also be open that day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
