DNR Firearms Safety Set at Sportsmen’s Club
DNR Firearms Safety Set at Sportsmen’s Club The DNR Firearm Safety program at the Minneota Sportsmen’s Club is open to anyone interested in learning more about firearms safety and conservation.
In order to take the class, registrants must be at least 11 years old on March 1. No advanced registration is needed. One of the parents must accompany kids the first night to sign you up for the class.
The class schedule is included below: All Classes start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.
Thursday, March 1- Registration - Introducing Hunter Education
Monday, March 5 - Archery and Black Powder
Thursday, March 8 - Firearms and Hunting Safety
Thursday, March 15 - Transporting and Carrying Firearms
Monday, March 19 - Hunter Responsibility and Ethics - Wildlife Conservation
Thursday, March 22 - Personal Preparedness and Review
Saturday, March 24 - Field Trip from 9 a.m. to noon.
