Four vehicle accident in Marshall

On September 20, at 5:05 p.m. the Marshall Police Department, Lyon County Sheriff's Department, Minnesota State Patrol and the Marshall Fire Department responded to a four vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 59.
Five people were transported by North Memorial Ambulance Service to the Marshall Avera Regional Medical Center for unknown injuries.
A 94-year old woman who was a passenger in a vehicle was tranported to Sioux Falls where she later died as a result of injuries sustained in the vehicle accident.
The accident is being investigated by the Marshall Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
