Graupmann re-elected county board chairman

It’s a new year and the first business the Lyon County Board always has to take care of is to elect a new board chairman and vice-chairman.

The Lyon County Board wasted no time unanimously re-electing Paul Graupmann for his second straight term as county board chairman.

Graupmann has been serving as county board chairman this past year.

The chairman of the county board is paid more than other board members due to the nature of the position.

Gary Crowley was chosen as the vice-chair and he will act in the capacity of chairman when Graupmann is unable to attend.

Other members of the board are Rick Anderson, Charlie Sanow, Gary Crowley and Steve Ritter.
