Man found dead in hog barn

 At about 6:44 a.m., Monday, June 4, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an unresponsive person at a hog confinement facility in rural Royal Township.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Ivanhoe Ambulance and the Lincoln County Corner responded to the scene.

They found 33-year-old Tony Laleman, a worker at the facility.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene and later transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s office, the Medical Examiner’s preliminary autopsy results indicate a lethal level of carbon monoxide, but final results are pending.
