Rolbiecki watches teammates beat Blackjacks
Landon Rolbiecki returned to K. P. Kompelien Field Saturday. This time he was watching his teammates play.
The junior linebacker who broke his leg three games and five surgeries ago had a smile on his face as he watched his Viking teammates beat Dawson-Boyd, 28-0 in the Section 5A semifinals.
Rolbiecki, who spent time at Avera in Marshall, then was transferred to Sioux Falls, where he completed his surgeries.
He's returned home and Saturday watched the game with family and friends from a wheelchair with the back of a vehicle behind him.
He visited with his friends and teammates after the game.
