Mrs. Skillings
The 1st and 2nd graders had a great first few days of school. We got into our routine quite quickly.
On the first day, we played a fun game with M & M’s. We have new iPads which we used. This is a nice addition of technology for the students. We went to Mass on Wednesday.
This coming week we will have our first spelling lists of the school year!
Ms. Miller
In 3rd and 4th Grade Religion, we are starting the school year learning about the meaning of Good News and how we can share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those we love.
In 3rd and 4th Grade Science, we are learning how to investigate and ask questions about the environment. In 3rd and 5th Grade Reading classes: we are building up our stamina by reading a book of our choice (and Ms. Miller says we’re doing a great job!).
In 3rd and 4th Grade Social Studies, we are talking about the meaning of community: what makes up our community, and what you need to have a good community! In 5th Grade Religion, we have just started to explore the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church and how they are rooted in Sacred Scripture.
