Thanksgiving for seniors

 The Senior Center in Minneota held it’s Thanksgiving Banquet last Thursday.

Center Director Joanne Myrvik told the audience this was her 20th year at the helm at the Senior Center. She took some time to reflect on the years that have gone by so quickly.

Providing the entertainment for the gathering was Myrvik’s granddaughter, Cora Engels, who did a dramatic reading for the group. Engels is a member of the Minneota Speech Team.

Kevin Anundson read a transcript of, “Good News,” we’re hearing out of the White House. And the annual quilt auction was won by Royal Hettling.
