Things about to get crazy; specials set for Friday
Things are going to get a little crazy in Minneota on Friday. Several local businesses will be participating in the annual Crazy Days event by offering various specials on Friday.
Brad's Market will again feature his popular outdoor produce section, offering fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as other items. There will also be various specials going on inside Brad's Market. Crazy Days shoppers will also have the option of indoor or outdoor dining specials depending on your preference and/or the weather.
City Hall Bar & Grill on First Street will be offering a buy-one-get-one-free cheeseburger lunch special from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., said manager Jordan Dressen. And the Nordland Top Notchers 4-H group will again be grilling hamburgers along Jefferson Street in the Business District as a fundraiser.
"We will be offering burgers, pop and chips for five dollars," said Cindy Van Keulen. "This is our main fundraiser of the year." For an added treat, you can swing over to Farmers Coop Association (Cenex) on Highway 68 and grab a cake doughnut for only 25 cents (limit five per person) while supplies last.
You can also get double points on your Rewards Card at FCA. Shopping specials will also be held throughout town. Gislason's Ace Hardware is offering 20 percent off storewide, excluding solar salt.
And The Arched Door will offer 25 percent all regular-priced items in the store, and will also have a 50 percent off clothing rack.
The Arched Door will also have a 50 percent-off table that will include gifts and décor, a $10 clearance clothing rack and markdowns on selected tables. Gislason's Hardware/The Arched Door will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
At J's Dream, there will be storewide sales and treats available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This and That Recreated will be offering a 25 percent-off discount on all items in the store from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. One More Time Thrift Store will celebrate its two-year anniversary with half-priced sale throughout the store from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., including additional savings on your purchase by drawing a percentage-off number.
There will also be treats available to customers. Mary Louise Vintage and Antiques is also offering 50 percent off all merchandise in its store from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. B Lenore is going crazy with $10 doll clothes, $2 dish and wash cloths and $5 earrings from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. And Hometown Kitchen and Bath will have discontinued carpet and tile samples for $1 each or 5 for $3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
