A whole new season

Minneota school kids awoke Wednesday morning to a whole new experience. Gone were the light jackets, replaced with the winter wear and boots.

The parking lot at the school was filled with snow as kids made their way to school during the real first day of winter.

Corn and other crops are already running behind and the snow isn't helping.

The snow started on Tuesday and by Wednesday morning areas were reporting half an inch to two inches of snow in the area.
