Water planning has taken on a new form. Previously, water plans were adopted on a county basis every 10 years.
The United Way of Southwest Minnesota has begun it’s new fund-raising campaign. This year the goal is to collect $625,000 for help operate programs throughout the region.
Marcy Heemeyer, President and CEO of the United Way of Southwest Minnesota is leaving her role at the end of November. Heemeyer has accepted a position with North Star Mutual Insurance Company.
Second half 2018 real estate property taxes are due on Monday, October 15. Most agricultural property and mobile home taxes are due November 15.
