Funeral services for Ivan Hiepler, 80, formerly of Minneota, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Madison, MN. Rev. Noel Herr officiated at the service. Special music was provided by Eunice Mork, organist.
Honorary Pallbearers were Erika Lopez, Deacon Morgan, Aubree Hiepler and Kimberly Hiepler.

Doug Pohlen, 71, of Northfield, formerly of Minneota, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2023, at his home.
Douglas Joseph Pohlen was born on Jan. 5, 1952, in Marshall, MN to Benjamin and Lorraine (Thomas) Pohlen. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Minneota High School in 1970. Doug attended a vocational technology school in St. Michael, for two years, for Auto Body Repair.

Services for Allan Gene Josephson, 91 of Minneota were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023, at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Horvath Remembrance Center in Minneota, ending with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Visitation continued Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment with military honors followed at Hope Lutheran Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial for Douglas J. Pohlen, 71, of Northfield, formerly of Minneota, will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery.
Douglas died on Sunday Feb. 19, 2023, under hospice care at his residence on Northfield.

Renil Joseph Van Overbeke, 97, was born on June 5, 1925 to Edward Gustaf and Emma (Van Hyfte) Van Overbeke and was raised near Minneota. He attended Minneota High School and spent two years in the U.S. Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, Renil found success as a boxer and became the Southwest Minnesota Golden Gloves champion.

Robert L. “Bob” Swedzinski, was born on Sept. 21, 1938 and passed away on Feb. 3, 2023.
He was born on his home farm near Taunton, MN. Bob attended elementary school in Taunton and graduated from Minneota High School in 1956.
