Richard Sussner

Richard Sussner, 63, of Minneota, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the Minneota Manor in Minneota after fighting bad health for many years.

Mass of Christian Burial for Richard will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 23, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4- 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 4 p.m. and a Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at Rehkamp Horvath Funeral Home in Minneota.

Visitation will continue from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Minneota.

Richard Alan Sussner was born on August 13, 1954, in Hendricks, MN, to Francis and Dolores (VanDorpe) Sussner.

He lived with his family on a farm near Minneota when they moved into Minneota in 1968.

Richard graduated from Minneota High School in 1972. He worked for MGT Coop for one year, for Dick Stassen Tiling for nine years and for Severson Tiling for 10 years.

Richard loved the outdoors; especially hunting and target shooting. He was also very fond of tiling.

He is survived by his brother Ron of Ghent, Dan (and Kathy) of Plymouth, sister Diane (and Bob) Andries of Marshall, nieces and nephews Michelle Sussner of Marshall, Jeff (and Nacole) Sussner of Minneota, Jayme (and Jodi) Sussner of Chaska, Jodi Sussner of Ghent, Steve (and Stacy) Sussner of Ghent, Derek (and Tessa) Sussner of Plymouth, Randy (and Michele) Sussner of Plymouth, Adam (and Kelly) Sussner of Sartell, Reed (and Angie) Andries of Russell, Mike (and Betty) Andries of Marshall, Bethany (and Travis) Jensen of Sioux Falls, SD, Chad (and Melanie) Andries of Fort Worth, TX, and 21 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Shirley.
