Chase Johnson, left, and Eli Gruenes of Minneota qualified for the MNGWL 9th Grade State Tournament after competing in the Region 2 Qualifier on Saturday in Champlin Park. Johnson was second at 126 pounds, while Gruenes was first at 152 pounds. Nineteen teams competed in the region tournament. Minneota finished fifth as a team.
