Minneota golfer Carolyn Hoffmann did the best that can be asked of her.
She chopped 17 strokes off her game from the first day on Tuesay to the final day Wednesday at the State Class A Tournament.
She scored 112 the first day and came in with a 95 the second day for a two-day total of 207. Although she was Minneota's fifth best golfer, she was able to show a lot of promise for the future with her improved game.
The Vikings finished in fifth place at the state tournament.
