Countryside Golf Fun Day is Saturday

With all the golf carts zooming around town, here is a chance to own a classic.
As part of the Countryside Golf Club's annual Fun Day, a 2021 Club Car Tempo gasoline golf cart is being raffled off.
Tickets are $100 each (150 tickets are available) and also include a free round of golf. The winner will be announced on Saturday, July 24 at 7 p.m. at the golf club.
The street legal cart is valued at over $10,000 and is equipped with electronic fuel injection, metallic color, premium seat, fuel gauge/hour meter, gunmetal aluminum alloy wheels, headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, high speed, ball & club washer, cooler, dual USB ports, and windshield.
Tickets are also still available for the Fun Day for July 23 and 24, which is a fundraiser in which all proceeds go for maintenance and repairs at the course and clubhouse.
Tickets are $50 for two people and include 18 holes of golf, a cart, free supper, social hour with drinks, entertainment and drawings. Golfing can be done either done.
Prizes will be given out totaling $3,000 if all 200 tickets are sold. First prize is $1,000 and second prize is $500.
Social hour will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Saturday, with the meal to follow. Drawings will be held at 7 p.m.
"We encourage everyone to come out and have some fun," said Tony Esping, Countryside Golf Club General Manager. "It's a chance to get out and enjoy an activity. Where can you spend $50 for two people and get dinner, drinks, golf and a cart, while also helping the golf course?"
