No ordinary course in Porter

Molly Knutson of Volga, SD came to Porter to run. She did, too, under the bridge, through the water, up the river bank and into the chute at the end with the women’s championship.

She ran the race in :27.02, was third overall and won the 35-44 age women’s group.

The course for the Off-Road 5K Road Race at the Porter Harvest Festival is no easy run. It takes turns through the river and under the bridge. J

ustin Lorang of Woodbury found that out when he crossed the creek, then had to come up an embankment to continue the race.

But Lorang was successful, he did the course in 23:15 and was the overall winner. He also won the men’s 35-44 age groupRaces
