Region 2 champs

The Minneota Youth Wrestling team won the 17-team, Region 2 title this past weekend in Tracy, topping Adrian 36-35 in the championship match. This is only the second time Minneota has won the region championship. Minneota defeated USC/Maple River 40-34 in the first round, then beat Canby 44-28 in the quarterfinals and Worthington 44-33 in the semifinals.
