Sensations third in Camden meet

The Canby/Minneota Sensations placed third in High Kick in the Camden Conference competition on Saturday in Canby.
Canby/Minneota's Krystal Erickson and Lauren Olson, both seniors, were named to the High Kick all-conference team, while junior Emma Vernlund was named all-conference in Jazz.
In High Kick, the top five teams were Yellow Medicine East, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd, Canby/Minneota, Worthington, and Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.
"The girls did an amazing job Friday night," said C/M coach Shauna Vernlund. "We had some changes this last week, but the girls put in the hard work and nailed their performances."
Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd was first in Jazz, followed by Yellow Medicine East, Lakeview, Worthington and BBE/Paynesville.
The Sensations have their final two regular-season meets this week, competing in Montevideo on Thursday and in Cottonwood on Friday.
The sectional tournament is Feb. 12 in Montevideo.
