Vikings rumble past Lakeview, 61-21

Minneota scored 12 of the first 14 points of the game and went on to rout Lakeview 61-21 in a Camden Conference game Monday night in Cottonwood.
Kenadi Arndt had 13 points and five rebounds for the Vikings (13-4). Ireland Stassen pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds to go along with eight points. Dakoda Hennen and Grace Hennen had 10 points apiece.
Kiersyn Hulzebos added nine points for Minneota. Ella Johnson finished with five points and six rebounds. Emma Bottelberghe added four points and four rebounds.
All 13 Minneota players saw action.
Karya Herrick led the Lakers with five points.

Minneota tossed in nine three-pointers and steamrolled Yellow Medicine East 67-30 for its fourth straight win Friday night in Granite Falls.
The Vikings (12-4) started out slow and fell behind 7-0 before a 10-2 run put them on top for good.
Ireland Stassen had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Grace Hennen notched 16 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Vikings. Kenadi Arndt just missed a double-double with eight points and 13 rebounds. Nine players scored for Minneota with Kiersyn Hulzebos tossing in seven points, Faith Myhre six, Ella Johnson and Dakoda Hennen four apiece, Nevaeh Hennen three and Megan Krog one.
Minneota shot a season-high 45 percent from three-point range (9 for 20) and 39 percent overall from the field. The Vikings also dominated the boards by a 41-22 margin.
Ruby Bones led the Sting (6-9) with eight points. Hannah Stark had seven points and Hope Stark six.

Ireland Stassen had 18 points, Dakoda Hennen had 15 and Grace Hennen 14 to lead a three-prong attack as the Vikings defeated Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 64-49 Thursday in Tyler.
The Vikings (11-4) trailed 12-11 before a 10-0 run gave them the lead for good en route to their third straight win.
Leading 56-48, the Vikings closed out the game on an 8-0 run.
Minneota shot 43 percent from the field, including connecting on five 3-pointers.
Stassen sank 8 of 14 shots from the field, including 2 of 4 three-pointers. She also led the Vikings with nine rebounds. Dakoda Hennen also had a pair of triples, as well as four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Grace Hennen had six rebounds and three steals. Megan Krog added eight points and four rebounds.
Alexis Schreurs led the Knights (8-7) with 13 points. Madison Nelson had 12 points. RTR made just 1 of 19 shots from beyond the arc (5 percent) and shot 30 percent overall from the field.

Ireland Stassen pumped in five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 24 points to go along with sevenb steals as the Vikings (10-4) routed Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 73-52.
Kenadi Arndt collected a double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds, while Faith Myhre added 13 points
The Vikings bolted to an 11-0 lead as Myhre connected on consecutive three-point attempts, Grace Hennen turned a steal into a layup, and Myhre hit another triple.
Minneota then went on an 8-2 run with Stassen scoring all eight of the points on a pair of treys and a layup.
The Vikings. playing their best half of basketball this season, built a 43-18 halftime lead.
TMB's top scorer, Jordan Munson, was held to six points in the first half but had 15 in the second half to finish with a team-high 21. Munson's scoring barrage helped the Panthers whittle the deficit to 15 points when they went on a 10-0 to run make it 62-47. Stassen's three-pointer ended TMB's run and the Panthers would get no closer.
Both teams made nine 3-pointers in 22 attempts in the game.
Grace Hennen finished with seven points, four assists and four steals for the Vikings. Megan Krog had six points, Kiersyn Hulzebos five, Dakoda Hennen four, Hadli Krog two and Ella Johnson one.
Minneota topped TMB 66-52 in an earlier meeting this season in Tracy.
