Vikings steamroll RCW, 96-32

In a dominating performance, Minneota scored the first 28 points of the game and went on to rout Renville County West 96-32 in a Camden Conference game Monday night in Minneota.
Five Vikings scored in double figures and 10 players scored in all. Natalee Rolbiecki paced Minneota with 18 points and six steals. Ireland Stassen amassed 15 points, McKenna Yost 14, and Dakoda Hennen and Grace Hennen 10 apiece.
The Vikings came up with 29 steals in the game by 11 different players. Kennedi Jurrens and McKenzie Tolk had five steals each.
Minneota (15-2) also dominated the boards with a rebounds advantage of 44-20. Jurrens pulled down eight rebounds and Jeren Rost had seven.
The Vikings shot 53 percent from the field, including connecting on 7-of-10 shots from three-point range.
Faith Myhre finished with eight points, Rost seven, Jurrens six, and Morgan Moorse and Kenadi Arndt four each.
The Vikings host Yellow Medicine East on Thursday, Jan. 27.

Natalee Rolbiecki and McKenna Yost both scored season highs, combining for eight 3-pointers and 49 points as the Vikings improved to 16-2.
Rolbiecki finished with 28 points on 10 of 18 shooting, including four 3-pointers. Yost had 21 points on 8 of 14 shooting and also had four treys.
The Vikings got off to slow start, trailing the Wolverines 13-12 with 12:27 left in the first half before the offense got going and went on an 18-0 run to take a 30-13 lead and never looked back. During that run, Rolbiecki hit two 3-pointers and had eight points, while Yost and Ireland Stassen had four points each, and Kennedi Jurrens two.
Leading 36-23 at halftime, Minneota scored the first 10 points of the second half for a 46-23 lead.
Stassen scored eight of her 12 points in the first half. Jeren Rost scored six points and Jurrens four.
Ellie Bourne led the Wolverines (10-6) with 16 points, including four 3-pointers. Brielle Janssen added nine points and Gabrielle Randt eight.
