Minneota exploded for 10 runs in the first inning en route to a 12-2 victory over Canby in the season opener Thursday at K.P. Kompelien Field in Minneota.
Canby/Minneota participated in the elite Scott Underwood 33-team Invitational last Tuesday at South Dakota State University.

Canby/Minneota boys and girls track coach Sara Hemish feels both her squads are set to have a successful season, but there is a big difference between the two.
