The Vikings traveled to Madison Monday, a place where they hardly ever win, and beat the Lac qui Parle Eagles, 6-2 in eight innings.
Minneota's Brant Buysse laid down a big bunt in the second inning of the 14-1, five-inning win over Edgerton on Saturday. He got the bunt down to keep a rally going.

Along with 11,040 student participants from 343 high school teams, the Minneota Clay Targ Team is about to begin its 2017 spring season.
